"In order to continue to have love for something you must sometimes say goodbye. In essence sometimes a second chance is given when goodbyes are said!"
Sometimes by saying goodbye you are opening a new chapter that you hadn't expected. Sometimes by just letting go lets that person see that you are truly worth the work to have/keep you in their lives in one way or another. I don't believe in this theory, but a friend of mine told me that I should try it. I believe that a goodbye is a deletion of nonsense. Meaning you don't allow that person to have any control over you. Not in person, through facebook, email, nor text. They become erased. I begin the process that allows me to just forget them.
I have found ways to just take a step back from some people and then come back to them with different feelings. But I feel like a goodbye is a goodbye, and I am not the best person to give advice on this so these are just my thoughts.
Food for thought, if you are going through something similar please feel free to comment.
Much Love and as always have deep thoughts and beautiful reflections.
It sounds like it's a way to start fresh in a relationship. You mentioned having these people erased and then coming back to them with different feelings. It sounds like it's a great way to see and experience these people in a whole different light! And you would be saying goodbye to the things you didn't like about the person...so if it worked, then the good would be showing only...but sometimes, eventually, the bad might come out again in these people? I'm curious if this works or not - definitely sounds like a healthy approach!
